Objective: Having worked 4 years as an in-house designer for a mobile DSP company, it was my duty to create engaging ads for all the clients that we work with, most of them being mobile games. Some clients provides sufficient assets for me to resize or reformat, but for the ones that doesn’t have the appropriate creatives for their specific campaign, I create original display, video, or interactive ads for them.
Solution: The key thing in this role is to be resourceful and have creative solutions. Most of the game assets can be found in-game via screenshots or screen record. The client’s app store and social page are also a good place to look. Ultimately, our team’s goal is to produce creatives that are on brand with the client’s product, while also drives performance.
I have worked in the digital advertising industry since 2015. I am experienced in working with varies different clients and formats. From strict clients with multiple rounds of revision, to company that has zero assets to offer. I have faced and overcome many challenges in the digital marketing sector. I thrive in a fast pace environment where different clients come and go every week, producing over a hundred ads in some days, and work in short deadline to met holiday campaigns. Here are just a small sample of of the ads I’ve worked on.
Objective: Think of a store you that you would like to have, and then do the branding for that store. Think about what makes your store different from the others, how will your store be more successful because of your branding.

Objective: To deconstruct the book "The Medium is the Massage" by Marshall McLuhan. Retain all copy information from the book and present it in a new way with our own interruption and style.
Solution: The main theme of the book is how the new media is changing the way we live. In my redesign, I choose to focus on the theme of how the human brain receive senses, the way we see television, listen to radio and play with new technology. The inside of the book is fill with many old scientific drawings of human body parts and machines to show the connections of our senses and media, while the cover of the book is made with three different kind of textual paper to stimulate the senses.
Objective: In this magazine redesign project, I challenge myself to redesign a portion of the National Geographic magazine in a bilingual format with English and Chinese. The design has to contain a table of contents, editor’s note, at least 2 articles, and an infographic.
Solution: The main goal is to design layouts containing two very different languages, to make them equally comprehensible and compliments each others. I tried as much as I could to avoid design the same layout for both language and just place them left and right. I aim to create 2 different experiences for the readers with a single layout, depending on the language they know.
